Satellite Industry Association Congratulates Olivia Trusty Following Her Senate Confirmation as Newest Commissioner of the FCC
Washington, D.C., June 17, 2025 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today congratulated Olivia Trusty following her confirmation by the United States Senate as the newest Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Ms. Trusty was nominated by President Trump earlier this year and was most recently a policy director for U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. She has worked on Capitol Hill in various positions for more than a decade including roles on the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Cybersecurity Subcommittee.
