SIA’s Government & Military Forum at Satellite 2024

March 18-21, 2024
Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Each year SIA organizes the Government and Military Forum at the Satellite Show. In 2023, SIA’s panel discussions explored the use of 5G technology in military communications, the competitiveness of the US in remote sensing, the challenges of communication in the face of cyber and kinetic attacks, the role of satellites in disaster relief, and the challenges and opportunities for next-generation space architecture. These panels and discussions provided a platform for experts to share their insights and knowledge on these topics, including the importance of standardization, how 5G can improve communications in austere environments, and the regulatory hurdles to the growth of novel space activities.

SIA is organizing the following Government and Military panels for SATELLITE 2024:

  1. Strategic Synergies in the Multi-layered Network Transport Era – Tuesday, March 19th at 11am – 12pm
  2. Recent Developments in Satellite Spectrum Policy – Tuesday, March 19th at 1:45 pm to 2:30 pm
