Satellite Industry Association Congratulates Adam Cassady on his U.S. Senate Confirmation as Ambassador at Large for the Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy

Washington, D.C., August 10, 2026 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today congratulated Adam Cassady following his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as the Ambassador at Large for the Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy (CDP) at the U.S. Department of State. The CDP Bureau promotes U.S. national and economic security by leading, coordinating, and elevating foreign policy on cyberspace and digital technologies. It builds partnerships to shape the international environment so Americans and people everywhere can prosper.

Prior to his confirmation, Mr. Cassady was Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Deputy Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). Before his appointment at NTIA, he served for over four years at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for Commissioner Nathan Simington. Mr. Cassady served as Chief of Staff to Commissioner Simington, and prior to that as Commissioner Simington’s Senior Legal Advisor, managing a variety of telecommunications and technology portfolios.
