AQYR Space Joins SIA

AQYR JOINS THE SATELLITE INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION

Washington, D.C., October 17, 2018 –The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced that AQYR Technologies (AQYR) has joined SIA.  AQYR designs and manufactures highly portable GBS and 2-way Ku/Ka/X-band full auto-acquisition, single-case, portable ground terminals. AQYR is a land terminal provider for Tactical SATCOM Solutions. The Company’s intuitive, patented, auto-acquire terminals are used by Defense as well as NGOs, Public Sector, Foreign Governments, Commercial & Enterprise markets.

Earlier this year, AQYR announced the introduction of a new family of satellite terminals; the TARANIS antenna systems.  All of AQYR’s terminals were developed using the expertise and experience AQYR used in the development of its AN/PRS-11 receive suite used on the Global Broadcast Service network for the U.S. DoD.  The Company also recently announced the appointment of Virgil Russell as their new Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Mr. Russell will responsible for meeting company growth objectives.
