SIA Unveils New Brand Logo and Website
Washington, D.C., On Dec 16th, the Satellite Industry Association unveiled a new logo, website and colors to refresh the branding of the trade association that has been the voice of the domestic commercial satellite industry for nearly a quarter century.
“As we celebrate the end of 2019, SIA is excited to enter a new year with completely new branding for the Satellite Industry Association,” said Tom Stroup, President of SIA. “For the first time in over two decades we say farewell to the classic SIA ellipse brand logo and welcome 2020 with an all new logo and new colors – a logo that pays tribute to our past while inferring the tremendous growth of the industry and a dynamic move forward to the future.”
Mr. Stroup added, “In addition to our new logo, we also enter the year with a brand new website, designed to increase awareness and better communicate to government lawmakers, regulators and everyday customers, the tremendous positive impacts the commercial satellite industry has on the world’s population, each and every day. To better serve our membership, staff and guests, we have also moved to our new offices in the same building in Washington, DC.
“Perhaps most importantly, our new branding comes at a time of unprecedented growth, both for SIA and the entire industry. During the past 12 months, we have added 10 new members to the Association and over the past 24 months, SIA has grown by a whopping 43 percent. Why is this important?
First, the increased diverse membership reflects the growth seen throughout the entire satellite industry. Second, increased membership fuels the Association with the ability to do more for our members while educating the world about the importance of the amazingly innovative, highly reliable, ubiquitous services satellites deliver to Americans both here at home and around the globe.”
