SIA Announces Changes to the Satellite Industry Association Executive Committee

Washington, D.C., June 28, 2024 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced the SIA Board has elected Danielle Piñeres of Planet Labs PBC as the new Chair of the Association’s executive committee, following the retirement of Julie Zoller from Amazon. SIA’s Board also elected Peter Davidson of Intelsat as Vice Chair and Stacy Fuller of DIRECTV as Treasurer.

“I would like to thank outgoing Chair Julie Zoller for her much-appreciated service and leadership promoting SIA and the commercial satellite industry during the first half of 2024,” said Tom Stroup, president of the Satellite Industry Association. In her leadership role as Chair of the Executive Committee, SIA has continued to successfully advocate for an expanding and increasingly diverse commercial satellite industry. SIA wishes Julie well in her future endeavors and we welcome our new executive committee and the high level of satellite industry and regulatory expertise Danielle, Peter and Stacy bring to the Association.”
