Satellite Industry Association Congratulates Olivia Trusty on Nomination as Commissioner of the FCC

Washington, D.C., January 21, 2025 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today congratulated Olivia Trusty on the announcement by U.S. President Trump of his intent to nominate her as Commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Ms. Trusty was most recently a policy director for U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and has worked on Capitol Hill in various positions for more than a decade including roles on the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Cybersecurity Subcommittee.
