Satellite Industry Association Applauds Senate Confirmations of Brendan Carr and Geoffrey Starks as FCC Commissioners

Washington, D.C., October 2, 2023 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today applauded the United States Senate for confirming returning FCC Commissioners Brendan Carr and Geoffrey Starks. In May, U.S. President Joe Biden renominated sitting FCC Commissioners Mr. Carr and Mr. Starks. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr was initially confirmed in 2018 and Commissioner Geoffrey Starks was first confirmed in early 2019.
