Washington, D.C., June 29, 2026 – The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today is pleased to announce that Georgia Reynolds has been appointed as SIA’s new Director of Policy. In her new role, Ms. Reynolds will support SIA’s legislative advocacy and regulatory work on spectrum, broadband connectivity, trade, cybersecurity and other key policy areas of interest that are of critical importance to the commercial satellite industry and the Association’s members.

Ms. Reynolds holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, where she focused on space policy and international and global affairs. She recently was with the Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise Policy and Programs (EMSEPP) team in the office of the DoW Chief Information Officer. Before beginning her graduate study, Georgia was a Policy Advisor in New Zealand’s Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, working within Radio Spectrum Policy and Planning. She also holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury.

“SIA is very pleased to announce the appointment of Georgia as the Association’s new Director of Policy,” said Tom Stroup, president of the Satellite Industry Association. “Georgia’s radio spectrum experience on defense and national security applications as well as her background in space policy issues will be invaluable for her new role at SIA.
