MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
SIA offers two types of memberships – Executive and Associate.
Executive members enjoy full SIA voting privileges and participate in lobbying activities before the U.S. Government. Executive membership is open to U.S. companies that are committed to forwarding the mission and goals of the association. Executive Members receive the following benefits:
A seat on the SIA Board of Directors with full voting rights
Eligible to participate in all working group meetings and events
Participation in SIA sponsored panels and industry events
Hyperlink from SIA Web Site to Associate Member Internet home page
Access to the SIA weekly Director’s Report as well as the SIA Mid-Year and Annual Reports
Participation in the Annual SIA Satellite Industry Indicators Survey and unlimited access to the resulting data
Right to use SIA logo in all corporate literature
Receive executive briefings, updates and special electronic reports on regulatory issues
Associate Membership is open to companies, individuals or organizations that do not meet the criteria for executive membership but do meet one of the following requirements:
Domestic or international companies engaged in satellite related activities.
Companies and individuals involved in consulting, legal, financial or information services in support of the commercial satellite industry.
Non-profit organizations and professional associations in either the satellite, aerospace or communications industries.
SIA Associate Members receive the following benefits:
Participation in all open SIA meetings and events, but do not have voting rights.
Eligible to participate in all working group meetings and events.
Participation on SIA sponsored panels and industry events.

Open to satellite companies comitted to SIA's mission and goals. Trial Associate Membership is exclusively offered for one (1) calendar year, after which the Trial Associate Members may join as full Associate or Executive Members, depending on qualifying membership criteria. Dues for Trial Associate Membership are set at $5,000.
